Sydnie Moore - PR Consultant

With more than 20 years of media and public relations experience, Moore currently handles public relations for entities such as the law firm of Casey Gerry, The Grand Del Mar resort and Trigild Corp., a real estate management firm. Throughout her career, Moore has publicized and developed special events and promotions for a full range of local, regional and national accounts in the restaurant, hospitality, entertainment, real estate and legal industries.

For more than ten years, she was the public relations and marketing representative for the San Diego Museum of Man. She is also a freelance writer, and has contributed to the San Diego Daily Transcript, SD Home Magazine and the San Diego Union-Tribune.

She has worked as an account supervisor for several leading San Diego public relations and advertising firms, including Capener, Matthews & Walcher (now Matthews-Evans-Albertazzi).

With special expertise in media and community relations, Ms. Moore's client experience includes the Riviera Resort & Spa; Montage Hotel & Resort in Laguna Beach; U.S. Grant Hotel; the Hotel del Coronado; Pacific Cornerstone Architects; Chipotle Mexican Grill; Top O' the Cove; Cilantros; Epazote; Sapphire Laguna Napa Valley Grille and Chive restaurant; the Reuben H. Fleet Space Theater and Science Center; Loews Coronado Bay Resort; the American Council on Exercise and Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

Ms. Moore previously was a reporter, covering politics, lifestyle and business for The Light Newspapers. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications and film from San Diego State University.

She currently serves on the marketing committee for Words Alive, and has also contributed her efforts to The National Conference, served on the board of directors for the Public Relations Club of San Diego and on the communications committees for the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association.
